November 2007  Earth-Prime’s Kal-El (Superman-Prime) is evil. He is the same character as Superboy-Prime but had to be re-named into Superman-Prime due to copyright issues - suddenly morphing from a teen to a grown man in Countdown vol. 1 #24 and kills Zod (Superman of Earth-15) He destroys Earth-15 and Earth-51 in his quest to find the perfect universe. June 2007 Statues of the original Legion of Super-Heroes -Justice Society of America (vol. 3) #5

2007-2015 In the Lightning Saga story arc the “Lightning Legion” lived in the year 3008. They operated at the same time as the “Threeboot" Legion, which did not end until 2009. The Lightning Legion was really just a revival of the original Legion. -Justice League of America vol. 2 #8–10 and Justice Society of America vol. 3 #5–6

June 2008 New Earth Erik Storn (Fury) discovers he can transform his gender at will, becoming Erik/Erika Storn Infinity Inc. vol. 2 #3 (Jan 2008) - He gets a new name (Amazing Woman) and this new costume in vol. 2 #8

August 2008 Post Crisis Earth-2 Carter Hall (Hawkman) and Shiera Saunders (Hawkgirl) are on Earth-2 - Justice Society of America vol. 3 #17,19,20 and Annual #1

November 2008 Earth-1 Kendra Saunders (Hawkgirl) is transported to Thanagar. The mind of Carter Hall (Hawkman) in the body of Katar Hol is revived. They move to New Earth Louisiana. Justice Society of America vol. 3 #19


December 2008 New Earth Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) decides to change her identity to Linda Lang, Lana Lang’s niece. –Supergirl vol. 5 #34

2008 Final Crisis

Darkseid's plan to overthrow reality, and the death and corruption of various DC characters and their universe. “Supermen” appear from across the multiverse.  As New Earth began the process of recovery, they were left knowing of the multiverse. -Final Crisis Issue #3 and Issue #5 shown

June 2007 New Earth Supergirl has left the New Earth aka Earth-Prime 31st Century, leaving the “Prime Legion” aka “Threeboot" Legion of Super-Heroes on their own again. (WW III vol. 1 #2) In leaving, the book Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes vol. 1 #16-36 is continued with its original name: Legion of Super-Heroes vol. 5

2008 This retro version of New Earth Kathy Webb "Kate" Kane (Batwoman II) First appeared In Final Crisis vol. 1 #3. She also appeared in Batman vol. 1 #678 (Aug 2008) and #682 (Jan 2009). In #678 she was a hallucination, referencing the Earth-One Batwoman from Batman #153 (1963), except we all know that E-1 Batwoman was killed by the League of Assassins in 1979, and erased from memory during Crisis on Infinite Earths.


Sep 2007-Dec 2008 “Thy Kingdom Come” JSA story arc. It features the Prime Earth Justice Society of America, Earth-Two Kara Zor-L (Power Girl), Jesse Chambers (Liberty Belle), Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl), and others. Earth-2 Richard Grayson (Robin) protects global Earth-2 and Helena Wayne (Huntress II) protects Gotham. Huntress and Robin are not siblings - they love each other but she is promised to Harry Sims.  -Justice Society of America Volume 3 #9-22, Justice Society of America Annual #1, and 3 one-shots

February 2008 New Earth Jennifer Pierce (Lightning) is now the daughter of Jefferson Pierce (Black Lightning) and Lynn Stewart (not Jonni Thunder) -Justice Society of America vol. 3 #12

July 2008 Post-Crisis Earth-2 is not the same as pre-Crisis Earth-Two. “This separation between the pre-Crisis Earth-Two and post-Crisis Earth-2 is formally established in Justice Society of America vol. 3 Annual #1 (2008)

2008 In a story titled "Earth 2 Chapter One: Golden Age", Pre-Crisis Earth-Two JSA Kara Zor-L (Power Girl) (recently of New Earth) meets Post-Crisis Earth-2 Helena Wayne (Huntress II) who “Kills” Post-Crisis Earth-2 Joker (Accidentally) causing Power Girl to wonder if she is actually on the real Pre-Crisis Earth-Two, or is she somewhere else? –Justice Society of America vol. 3 Annual #1

2008 Pre-Crisis Earth-Two JSA Kara Zor-L (Power Girl) believes she has returned home, until the missing post-Crisis Earth-2 JSI Kara Zor-L (Power Girl) reappears and declares that the JSA Power Girl is an impostor.” -Justice Society of America vol. 3 Annual #1 Aug 2008

2008 Post-Crisis Earth-2 JSI Kara Zor-L (Power Girl) tortures Pre-Crisis Earth-Two JSA Kara Zor-L (Power Girl) to find out what she did with Post-Crisis Earth-2 Superman. -Justice Society of America vol. 3 Annual #1 Aug 2008

2009 New Earth Superman Origin Story. New Earth Kal-El/Clark Kent (Superboy/Superman) seen on the cover with Pre-Zero Hour Original Legion of Super-Heroes –Superman: Secret Origin vol. 1 #1-6

This origin story replaces the Birthright origin. It also restores the idea that Superboy is a young Clark Kent, and puts Lex Luthor in Smallville.

Only a year after Secret Origins re-did the origin of Superman, we have another retelling which may or may not become canon. 

2011 New Classic round Window costume for Earth-Two Kara Zor-L (Power Girl)  -Power Girl vol. 2 issue #27 Note: The round window appears on the cover, but inside the issue it is still a rectangle.

2011 With the help of Swamp Thing, Pre-Flashpoint Carter Hall (Hawkman) and Pre-Flashpoint Shiera Hall (Hawkgirl) join “The Elementals”, bringing them to an end. -Brightest Day #23
 

December 2011 Prime Earth “Helena Bertinelli” (Huntress III) “Crossbow in the Crossroads” story arc set in Italy which sets Huntress up for the 2012 New 52 Worlds’ Finest Power Girl Team-up. Actually takes place after Earth 2 Helena Wayne (Robin/Huntress II) and Earth 2 Kara Zor-El (Power Girl) were transported to Prime Earth. Later we find out that Prime Earth “Helena Bertinelli” as featured in the story is actually just Helena Wayne in disguise. -Huntress vol. 3 #1-6

May 2011 FlashPoint

DC New Earth, Vertigo Earth-13, and Wild Storm Earth-50 are split into 52 universes. -Flashpoint (Vol2) #1-#5 and crossovers such as Lois Lane and the Resistance #1-3)
 

 

While traveling through time, Barry sees three different timelines — DC (New Earth), Vertigo (Earth-13), and WildStorm (Earth-50). Pandora tells him that the world had been split to weaken them, and it must now be reunited. The DC, Vertigo, and Wildstorm universes are merged, creating a brand new DC Universe.

2011 DC Comics was moved to be under "DC Entertainment".
